That this House recognises the work of Friendship Global based in Noel Park, Haringey in seeking to create a better and more peaceful world and promote friendships locally and internationally; notes their wish to officially mark 29 April as National / International Friendship Day; further notes the benefit of diverse communities coming together to form friendships which enrich our increasingly divided society; and hopes that the concepts of Friendship Memorials and Friendship Benches and Friendship Trees will spread through all communities across the UK.
