That this House expresses its sadness at the death of Gladys Marin, the former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Chile; recalls her life in exile from the brutal Pinochet regime as one of struggle for the restoration of democratic government and that in 1988 she initiated legal action against the dictatorship; and expresses its condolences to her family and supporters in Chile.
