That this House notes the outstanding achievement of Northern Ireland golfer Graeme McDowell in winning the United States Open, even among the intense competition offered by the world's elite players; and recognises the Portrush-based man's progress towards the top of the golfing world, proving that Northern Ireland now boasts three of the best golfers in the world in Rory McIlroy, Darren Clarke and the current US Open winner Graeme McDowell.
