That this House congratulates Georgie Grasso for winning the 2024 series of the Great British Bake Off; notes that the paediatric nurse from Carmarthenshire is the first contestant from Wales to win in the history of the show; highlights that Georgie delighted judges in the final with her showstopper, a hanging tiered celebration cake including elderflower and lemon sponge with strawberry and champagne confit and a lemon curd and elderflower buttercream; commends Georgie for raising awareness of people with ADHD; praises the contestants, crew, judges, and presenters on an excellent series; and wishes Georgie the very best for the future.
