HADDOCK STOCKS IN THE NORTH SEA

Line 2, leave out from 'Sea' to end and insert 'welcomes the move to decouple the various stocks in mixed fisheries to allow for higher quotas in healthy stocks such as haddock; supports the Scottish Seafood December reception to be held in Brussels to promote Scottish haddock; believes that the momentum to devolve competence to a regional dimension should be greatly accelerated; and supports the efforts of UK and Scottish Ministers to get the best outcome for the Scottish fishing industry from the European Fisheries Council.'
