Honour for Petula Clark

Motion Text

That this House notes that Petula Clark is playing the Bird Lady in Mary Poppins, proving yet again what a remarkable actress and singer she is; further notes that she is one of the top selling British female recording artists of all time and transcends time; and believes that in the year of the Platinum Jubilee she should be made a Dame.
