That this House is deeply concerned of the fate of asylum seekers in HMP Rochester who are on hunger strike and that 11 have been refusing food and since 27th January all fluids; recognises that none of these people have been charged with any offence and have sought sanctuary in Britain; and calls upon the Home Secretary to release them immediately from custody and end the practice of imprisoning asylum seekers.
