In-person banking services for Ellesmere

Motion Text

That this House recognises the gap in in-person banking services in Ellesmere and urgent need for a banking hub to fulfil the banking needs of local businesses; acknowledges the tight-knit community built around local high street businesses in Ellesmere and the importance of supporting the banking needs of businesses and residents to strengthen the local economy; notes the long distances that residents of Ellesmere, Dudleston Heath, Tetchill and other nearby communities must travel to fulfil their in-person banking needs; and supports the campaign for a banking hub to ensure Ellesmere's local economy is not held back by a lack of essential in-person banking services.
