INCREASED MANDATE IN NORTHERN IRELAND

Motion Text

That this House acknowledges the outcome of the Northern Ireland Assembly elections in November 2003; recognises that the result shows the Democratic Unionist Party to be the largest party in that Assembly; and accepts that with the announcement by the honourable Member for Lagan Valley that he has joined the DUP, that party is now the largest from Northern Ireland in this House.
