INVERARAY AND DISTRICT PIPE BAND 2016 GRADE 1 BRITISH CHAMPIONS

Motion Text

That this House congratulates Pipe Major Stuart Liddell and everyone involved with the Inveraray District Pipe Band on becoming Grade 1 British Champions for 2016; recognises the remarkable achievement of Stuart and others in creating a brand new pipe band in mid-Argyll just over a decade ago and then leading them to such notable success in that time; commends the work done by Inveraray and District Pipe Band in ensuring that Argyll's long and proud tradition of producing great pipers is being maintained; and wishes the band every success for the rest of this season and beyond.
