ISRAEL'S WEAPONS

Motion Text

That this House welcomes the lobby of Parliament planned for 13th July concerning Israel's development of weapons of mass destruction including nuclear and military space technology and calling for freedom from occupation for the Palestinian people; notes the impact of both on stability in the Middle East, exacerbated by Israel's refusal to comply with ratification of the Non-Proliferation Treaty and other important related treaties; calls upon the UK Government to urge the EU to insist upon Israeli compliance with said treaties; believes that an embargo should be imposed on the sale and purchase of all UK and EU relevant military equipment to and from Israel; and furthermore, calls upon the Israeli Government to end all restrictions upon Mordechai Vanunu's personal freedom.
