That this House expresses sorrow at the passing of Jimmy Perry, the creator, writer and inspiration for the popular television show Dad's Army; recognises all the joy and laughter that his skill provided homes across the UK as one of the finest quintessential British televison shows; and passes on sincere sympathy to the whole family circle who will be feeling his loss keenly at this time.
