That this House notes with concern the decision to remove Taylors Farm from its tenanted site under the ownership of Lancashire County Council; recognises that over 300 jobs in dairy farming in Lancashire could be lost if Taylors is forced from its site on the proposed date of 19th May, leaving dairy farmers in Lancashire unable to sell their milk; and calls on Lancashire County Council and representatives of the National Farmers Union, Lancashire dairy farmers and Taylors to work together so that alternative sites are found.
