LAUNCH OF MOBILE PHONE INDUSTRY 'OUT OF YOUR HANDS' EDUCATIONAL WEBSITE

That this House welcomes the launch of the Out of Your Hands website, an educational resource giving young people advice on how to keep their mobile phones safe; notes that the launch of the website follows the scheme's widely-praised rollout into schools via CD-ROM; congratulates the Mobile Industry Crime Action Forum (MICAF) on its funding of the Out of Your Hands project; notes that this project builds on the Immobilise campaign which raised awareness of mobile phone security; notes that MICAF has worked closely with the Home Office on the development of the website; and welcomes the ongoing work of the industry to educate its customers on how to keep their mobile phones safe.
