That this House congratulates Laurieston Community Hall at The Thrums on being awarded £20,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the funding will enable the refurbishment and equipping of the hall, as well as the delivery of a range of community events; recognises the central role community halls play in local life; and commends the group’s efforts to revitalise and expand opportunities for residents.
