That this House congratulates Liverpool Football Club, its manager Jürgen Klopp, players, staff and dedicated supporters on the club winning its long-awaited 19th league title victory, extending the city of Liverpool’s proud history of footballing success; applauds the club on the extraordinary achievement of being Champions of England, Europe and the World; commends the work carried out by the club through its community programme Red Neighbours and the LFC Foundation to support local residents during the covid-19 crisis; and encourages supporters to celebrate safely from home.
