LONDON LORRY BAN

Motion Text

That this House is appalled at the plan by the Secretary of State to lift the London-wide lorry ban and substitute it with self regulation by the lorry operators; believes that the ban, first introduced by GLC, could continue to work very well and protect Londoners from dangerous heavy goods vehicles; and further believes that if the ban is lifted pollution will increase, safety will deteriorate and the life of Londoners be made worse.
