LYONS REVIEW

Motion Text

That this House notes with concern the recommendations in the recent Lyons Review, including the proposed tourism tax or bed tax to raise additional funding for local authorities; recognises that this would be damaging to the tourism industry, which raised more than £80 billion for the British economy in 2004; and urges the Government to reject this part of the Lyons Review.
