New veterinary school

That this House congratulates Aberystwyth University and the Royal Veterinary College on launching a new School of Veterinary Science at Aberystwyth, the first of its kind in Wales; applauds the fact that the school builds on over 100 years of outstanding animal health teaching and research at Aberystwyth University; notes that the launch took place at the Medrus Conference Centre on the Penglais Campus, and was attended by Professor Christianne Glossop, Chief Veterinary Officer for Wales and Professor Stuart Reid, Principal of the Royal Veterinary College; and celebrates the beginning of this extraordinary new chapter in the history of Aberystwyth University and veterinary education in Wales.
