NORTHERN IRELAND AND ELECTIONS

Motion Text

That this House recognises the events of the last five years in Northern Ireland; views with dismay the events of October whereby those associated with terrorism still maintain the capability to terrorise and still have the advantage of a terror machine that other legitimate and democratic parties do not; and believes that the only mitigating factor in the announcement of 21st October by the Government was the calling of an Assembly election whereby the people of Northern Ireland will be able to give their verdict on the entire process.
