OUTSTANDING COMMON LAND PAYMENTS

That this House regrets that there are still farmers waiting to receive 2015 common land payments almost a year after the payment window opened; notes that the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) will soon start paying out on next year's farm support payment claims, despite the fact that there are still farmers waiting for last year's payments, with bills still to pay; further regrets the confusion caused by the Farming Minister's speech to the Northern Farming Conference in which he incorrectly stated that all common and payments had been paid; and urges the Government to instruct the RPA to pay all outstanding claims from 2015 as soon as possible.
