Motion Text

That this House congratulates Holyhead Town Council and all those involved in organising Party yn y Parc; recognises that the event has become a much loved fixture in the local calendar, bringing together families, residents, volunteers and visitors for a day of celebration in the heart of Holyhead; notes the hard work, dedication and collaboration shown by organisers, partner groups and supporters in delivering a safe, inclusive and vibrant event; acknowledges the contribution of headline performers Tinchy Stryder, DJ Sammy and the Vengaboys, whose appearances helped draw crowds and added to the success of the day; further recognises the important role Party yn y Parc plays in strengthening community spirit, supporting local talent, and providing opportunities for people of all ages to come together; commends the wide ranging activities, entertainment and performances that contributed to the event’s success; and wishes Holyhead Town Council and everyone involved continued success in future years.
