Passing of Jimmy Greaves MBE

That this House notes the passing of footballing legend Jimmy Greaves MBE; further notes his tremendous league and international reputation as England’s fourth-highest international goal scorer, Spurs' highest ever goal scorer, the highest goal scorer in the history of English top-flight football, and his record of having scored more hat-tricks for England than anyone else; recognises the inspiration that he has been to young people in sport over the past 50 years; and offers sincere condolences to his wife and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who mourn his loss.
