Persecution of Falun Gong practitioners

Motion Text

That this House is deeply concerned by ongoing persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in the People’s Republic of China; notes the substantial evidence from independent tribunals and human rights bodies indicating that detainees have been subjected to forced organ harvesting; calls on the Government to support transparent, independent investigations into these abuses and to raise these concerns in all relevant diplomatic and multilateral forums; and reaffirms the UK’s commitment to protecting freedom of belief for all.
