That this House is shocked at the news of the tragic death of Petra Kelly; recalls her work to protect the environment and promote a sustainable way of life; also recalls her work to eliminate nuclear weapons from Europe and promote peace; and hopes that in her memory more will realise the unsustainability of economic activity based on waste and pollution or security based on the fear of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction.
