That this House is dismayed at the announcement that the London Borough of Havering is to lose eight police officers to the London Borough of Hackney, just two weeks after 15 extra officers were announced; notes that Havering had received a disproportionately lower number of extra officers in the initial distribution; recognises the urgent need for a higher police present in Romford; calls upon the Home Secretary urgently to intervene; and urges the Metropolitan Police Authority to reassess the distribution of officers.
