PRESS ACCOUNTABILITY

That this House commends the Prime Minister for his speech to Reuters of 12th June 2007 about the British press; and calls for a cross-party initiative to explore ways of increasing press accountability and improving citizens' redress in cases of inaccuracy, while preserving essential press freedom.
