That this House believes that the proposal by the Kelda Group to sell Yorkshire Water for a reported ú2.4 billion to a registered community asset mutual raises fundamental questions about the future ownership of water services; believes that customers and others need time fully to consider the implications of this proposal; and therefore calls on OFWAT to extend the deadline for public consultation.
