That this House condemns the Deputy Prime Minister's ill-judged decision to curb tenants' right to buy; notes that the Deputy Prime Minister has taken an ideological position in his desire to end the popular right-to-buy scheme; further notes that far from cutting the right to buy, the best way to tackle the lack of affordable housing is to purchase it; and further notes that such measures will punish many.
