That this House congratulates the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Society, which is the world's oldest agricultural show society, on the 1998 Royal Lancashire Show held on 24th to 26th July in Chorley; recognises the enormous effort of the organisation by the committee and all the participants in making the show such a success; and thanks Chorley Borough Council and the people of Chorley for once again playing such a warm host to the United Kingdom's premier agricultural show.
