SCOTTISH WORLD CURLING CHAMPIONS

Motion Text

That this House congratulates Jackie Lockhart, Edith Louden, Anne Laird, Katriona Fairweather, Sheila Swan and Isobel Hannen, the Scottish Women's Curling Team, for winning the Curling World Championships in the USA for Scotland; commends the team for adding to the success of Rhona Martin and her team for winning the Olympic Games Curling championships earlier in the season; and notes that this double success is a fantastic advert for the sport of curling in Scotland and should provide inspiration to participants of all sports in Scotland.
