SECRET GARDEN NURSERY, LETHAM, FIFE

Motion Text

That this House congratulates The Secret Garden Nursery, Letham, Fife for winning the best forest school/kindergarten title at the recent Scottish Nursery Awards; recognises the hard work of Naomi Ellis-Morton, Sarah Jane Latto and all of the playleaders in creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment for children; notes that The Secret Garden has been leading the way in outdoors education since it was established as Scotland's first fully outdoor nursery by its visionary founder Cathy Bache in 2008 and that it continues to follow the ethos of giving children space and freedom to play in nature; and commends the wider Secret Garden community of parents and supporters who also play a large part in the success of the nursery.
