That this House congratulates Shelagh Toonen, school librarian at Elgin Academy, on being named 2026 President of CILIPS, the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals in Scotland; notes that she is the first librarian from Moray to hold this prestigious position; recognises her long-standing commitment to promoting literacy, reading for pleasure and information skills, including her work since 2012 at Elgin Academy and her innovative initiatives linking secondary education with local primary schools and community groups.
