Soham Men's Shed

Motion Text

That this House notes with concern the recent incident where Soham Men’s Shed was broken into and the theft of their power tools; understands that the Shed is unable to afford the high cost of insuring power tools and so could not adequately protect themselves for such a scenario; is pleased to hear that the local community rallied to support the Men’s shed following this incident and that many people and businesses have reached out to offer financial donations and replacement tools; recognises the important work of Soham Men’s Shed in fostering community spirit and providing a space for men in the community to learn and share skills while making friends; and wishes Soham Men’s Shed luck for the future.
