Motion Text

That this House acknowledges the significant social, economic, and cultural benefits delivered by the SSE Thermal Community Investment Fund over the last year, as it has invested £25,000 into fifteen different community projects across Peterhead, including support for sports clubs, the refurbishment of an inclusive community kitchen, and the expansion of disability-friendly services; recognises the fund’s immense impact in supporting grassroots organising that brings communities together and addresses specific local needs; and welcomes the continuation of the community investment fund and the future projects that will benefit this year.
