Motion Text

That this House recognises the commitment of NHS Fife and the Scottish Government to caring for some of the most vulnerable patients by investing in and opening a new purpose-built Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit at Stratheden Hospital by Cupar, Fife for people experiencing episodes of mental illness; notes that it will be providing specialist care and treatment; and welcomes the involvement of patients in the design of the new build so as to encompass elements important to recovery including greater patient privacy and outdoor space.
