SYRIAN AIRSTRIKES

Motion Text

That this House deplores the double airstrike attack on the Médicins Sans Frontières-supported hospital in Idlib Governorate, Syria, on Monday 15 February 2016, which killed nine staff and 16 patients; notes the UN's comments that such airstrikes are a blatant violation of international humanitarian law; condemns the bloody spasm of recent bombing in Damascus and Homs on Sunday 21 February 2016 killing 129 civilians; and calls on Russia to honour its provisional agreement with the US of a ceasefire in order that peace talks scheduled for this week can make good progress towards a united ceasefire amongst all parties involved in the war.
