That this House congratulates the Tiree Music Festival upon receiving a special commendation in the Caledonian MacBrayne - Best Cultural Event or Festival at the Scottish Thistle Award 2016; notes its success was achieved as a community interest company, a social enterprise which uses its profits for the public good; praises its important contribution and commitment to the cultural development of Tiree; recognises its unique contribution to the tourism industry of Argyll and Bute; and wishes the Tiree Music Festival many, many more successful years.
