TURKISH INVASION OF KURDISTAN

Motion Text

That this House is appalled at the Turkish attack on Kurdish areas of Iraq using 35,000 troops, air cover and paratroopers; believes Turkey should be condemned by all parties for this and that the attempted trade agreements with them should be vetoed; further deplores the violations of human rights in Turkey and the attacks on Kurdish people there; and further believes that a long term peace can only come through the recognition of human rights and the national identity of Kurdish people.
