That this House congratulates Valerio’s Fish and Chips in Lanark on being voted Waterfront Fish and Chips of the Year at the 2023 Scottish Fish and Chips Awards; recognises that Valerio’s has been serving quality fish and chips to the people of Lanark for over 90 years since the restaurant was established by Eugenio Valerio in 1932; praises the hard working and dedicated team of staff and manager Stacey; acknowledges that the secret recipe batter, which has been passed down through generations, has remained unchanged; and wishes everyone at Valerio’s all the best following their success.
