VISIT OF THE PRESIDENT OF TURKEY

That this House welcomes the visit to the UK of Abdullah Gl, President of Turkey; hopes that negotiations for Turkey's early entry into the European Union will continue; urges the British Government further to encourage the EU to move forward Turkey's accession; and hopes that warm relations between the UK and Turkey continue to flourish.
