VISITOR VISAS FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS

That this House urges the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Home Office to work together to establish a streamlined procedure and increased capacity for processing family visitor visas for those victims of the Gujarat earthquake to visit relatives in the United Kingdom whilst the process of reconstruction of their communities is undertaken and that such procedures should give particular consideration to the many orphans and elderly who are particularly vulnerable.
