Tht this House deplores the actions of the Moroccan Government in arresting supporters of the Polisario Front on 11th and 12th May whilst taking part in a peaceful demonstration in the occupied territories; deplores their continued holding and demands their release; is appalled that a free referendum on the future of the Western Sahara has not been held; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to press the United Nations to ensure that this is held as soon as possible after verification of the voters' rolls has been completed.
