That this House believes that the people of the Western Sahara are entitled to their self-determination and regrets that since Moroccan occupation in 1974 may Saharawies have been forced to live in refugee camps in Algeria; deeply regrets that despite UN decisions and the establishment of MINURSO no referendum has yet been held; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to press the UN and Morocco to ensure that a genuine choice is shortly placed before the Saharawi people, including the option of the independence.
