WOMEN'S AND MEN'S 2017 RUGBY LEAGUE WORLD CUP

Motion Text

That this House congratulates the England men's rugby league team on reaching the knockout stages of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup; notes that despite some good performances from the others, England are the only home nation remaining in the men's competition; further notes that England women's team are the only home nation represented in the women's Rugby League World Cup; wishes all involved with both squads well for the remainder of their competitions; and hopes that both men's and women's teams will reach the Rugby League World Cup final double-header in Brisbane on 2 December 2017, and bring the trophies home.
