Background

Many major energy companies are making record profits, yet consumers continue to be charged electricity standing charges. Many people with solar and smart meters are actively working to consume less energy, yet we feel electricity companies still prioritise their profits.

We believe electricity standing charges make no sense as the customers end up paying for something that is not based on the amount of electricity they consume.
