Allow Registered Nursing Associates to vaccinate under PGDs

Please update the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 to allow Registered Nursing Associates to vaccinate under PGDs. This modernisation would boost vaccination capacity, reduce pressure on nurses and prescribers, and strengthen protection amid falling herd immunity.

Additional details

I want the Government to update outdated medicines legislation so Registered Nursing Associates can vaccinate under PGDs. They are fully trained, NMC regulated professionals, yet current law restricts their ability to support vaccination programmes. Changing this would boost capacity, ease pressure on nurses and prescribers, and improve protection as herd immunity falls.
