Ban energy companies from charging daily standing charges

Background

Ban energy companies from charging the daily standing charge for gas and electricity. We believe it’s an unfair ‘charge’ and the energy companies do nothing that warrants this charge.

Additional details

I want the government to ban what we feel is an unfair and unwarranted daily charge because we think it represents a tax on our energy bills, and forces up the payments on people who use least energy.
