Ban import of petrol & diesel from countries which import & refine Russian oil

Background

We urge the Government to ban the import of petrol and diesel from countries which import and refine Russian oil, as the petrol and diesel they export to us may have been refined using Russian oil.

Additional details

We believe this move could reduce the amount of funding the Russian government has available for its war against Ukraine. We believe many people may be indirectly funding Russia through buying petrol and diesel without realising it, and may have no way of knowing the origin of the oil which was refined into petrol or diesel.
