If such strong consequences were introduced it would hopefully deter so offenders that want status through murder. Further it could give families closure. Our prisons are over crowded We have evidence now (cctv, dna, and more) so previous errors in convictions are greatly reduced. People cant be slaughtered on are streets and be free in 10 years or less, it isnt good enough.
